Have you read that the law is abolished?  Is it possible that deception has been the author of this notion?  Could it be that the curse of the law is abolished instead but the law itself is still as valid today as it ever was?  How does YHVH set apart His people from the rest of the world?  How does YHVH tell us what sin is so that we might repent?  Where has that law been written since it was first engraved on tablets of stone?

When Yeshua summed up the law into two commandments, He confirmed that to love the Father is to keep the first four commandments.  To love our neighbor is to keep the next 6 commandments.  Would He really have done away with the law and still be the Messiah?

If we'll just take a step back and reason for one minute and understand that Paul vehemently defended his own life of keeping the law, why would we twist his words to mean that the law is done away with?  Of course keeping the law cannot save us.  It never could.  Would a holy God desire complete love and devotion from one of His children and then just hand them a rule book to follow?  Of course not.  If we just have a rule, we won't need a relationship.  The rule was never the way to salvation.  Ahh, .....but the rule is the precious and priceless gift from our FAther to those of us who  have been granted salvation and now desire sanctification.  We cannot please Him, love Him, serve Him and at the same time, ignore His law.  If we love Him, we obey His commandments or we are liars.....these are His words, not mine.
