Did your messiah teach lawlessness?  Did the one called "jesus" do away with YHVH's law?  Did he make new commandments and delete old ones?

If we are honest, most of us would have to answer "YES" to these questions.  The "messiah" preached in evangelical christianity did exactly those things and not only is he a law breaker, he added to scripture (new commands) and took away from scripture (did away with commands).  We all know what the bible says about one who does such things, but that does not seem to matter to most.  Some of us believe that YHVH changes.  Some of us believe that the test of Deuteronomy 13 is not valid.  Some of us believe that the messiah we're preaching is/was meant to usher in a new/different/better WORD than the one already given.

But what if  we're wrong?

What if we've got it all wrong?

What if the Messiah, Yeshua did none of these things?

What if He passed the Deuteronomy 13 test and did not fail it, could not fail it and still doesn't fail it in any way or He would not be Messiah?

Well, then that would mean we've misunderstood most of the theology that we've learned.  That would mean that the Real Messiah, Yeshua, not only was the embodiment of Torah but that He did not add to it or take away from it.  That would mean that the life He lived (and the apostles lived) is the very same life we are to live........Torah.  That would mean our churches are teaching and perpetuating a false message.

But do we care?

Deuteronomy 13

King James Version (KJV)

13 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,

And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear Him, and keep His commandments, and obey His voice, and ye shall serve Him, and cleave unto Him.

And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the Lordthy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
